Rob Connor

Rob Connor is a Scottish pianist and composer based in Berlin. His music, though rooted in the classical piano tradition, seeks a fresh sound and new perspectives through a broad range of influences, including electronic, ambient and also folk music, the last of which extend back to his early childhood on the wild west coast of Scotland. Live performance has always been at the centre of Rob’s musical philosophy. He favours the piano’s direct and immediate connection with the audience, which he has always felt makes deep and meditative experiences possible for the listener. With this philosophy in mind, Rob founded Felt Room Berlin, a space for intimate piano-based concerts in the heart of Berlin Friedrichshain. The Felt Room experience centres around capturing a unique state of connection between artist and audience through carefully-curated piano concerts, featuring local and international artists.
