Rouhangeze
Rouhangeze is a multi-faceted artist whose talents span a diverse range of creative endeavors. As a singer-songwriter and producer, her genre-defying music interweaves jazz, folk, and contemporary influences into novel fusion styles. Possessor of a soaring, spiritually transcendent vocal talent, Rouhangeze connects on a deeply visceral level through soulful, lyrically poetic performances. In addition to releasing her own material, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Linley Marthe, Antonio Forcione, Mark Mondesir, Eric Appapoulay, Tomasz Bura and Guthrie Govan. Hailing from Mauritius, Rouhangeze serves as cultural ambassador for her home country. She also hosts the acclaimed Jazz Odyssey program on Jazz FM radio in the UK, further demonstrating her passion for the genre. With an otherworldly vocal beauty and gift for fusing styles in visionary ways, Rouhangeze is a versatile artist breaking creative boundaries.
